Easy DIY Gold Toga Party Crown

    04.01.2017 · diy · 0

So I went to my first toga party a couple weeks back. Yes my first one! I did go to college but I never went to a toga party. My boyfriend also had never been to one either. Let’s just say we were clueless on what to wear or how to get this whole outfit thing together. All I knew is that you wear a sheet and a gold crown. haha. So I let my imagination roam and made these gold crowns and tassels for the toga party.

    DIY Gold Toga Party Crown

    Supplies:diy gold toga party crown

    • Sisal rope (1/4 in x 10)
    • Garland
    • Gold Spray Paint
    • Kraft Paper-to spray paint on.
    • Hot Glue Gun

    Directions:

This is a very easy project so i’m not going to go into extreme detail.

    1.  Spray paint the rope and the garland with the gold spray paint and let it dry.
    2. Measure your head and cut the garland to that desired size.
    3. Use the hot glue gun to glue the ends of the garland together and let it dry (you might need a friends help for this part).

Once everything is dry and glued. You’re ready to put on your outfit.

Here’s my finished outfit. Andrew and I spent a good while trying to wrap each other and learning how to wrap a toga. We finally got it together but it’s not as easy as it looks. Also, if you have a tall boyfriend don’t use a twin sheet lol.

Have fun and I hope this comes out as good as it did for me. 🙂
